Description:
Give A Little Hoopla means to give some happiness or excitement to children whose lives are harder than others. This organization helps children with with any disabilities or diseases ride horses to help them have fun. Although the horses will not cure them, they will make them feel great about themselves. Our ranch is located at 1300 Lamington Road, Bedminster, New Jersey. Here we will help your children have fun and feel like they can accomplish anything no matter their circumstances. Huffalump Ranch has a variety of horses cared for by retired horse riders who will also be instructing your children while they ride. Here at Huffalump Ranch, we hope to give your child the best horseback riding opportunity of their life!

Schedule
Sunday: 12 pm- 7 pm
Monday- Saturday: 8 am- 7pm

(Horse riders will be present at the ranch everyday for help during the lessons)

Goal:
The goal of Huffalump Ranch is to give your children an experience they will love and will never forget. We hope they enjoy what they are doing and build strength and confidence in themselves from these horseback riding lessons.

Target Audience:
Our target audience is disabled children wanting to ride horses. Not only that, but we would like have people that take care of the horses, vets, riders, and volunteers to help willingly at the ranch.
Other info: Donations are always accepted. To make a donation, go to givealittlehoopla.org.

Future Projects:
In the future, we hope to accomplish many more non-profit organization projects for Give A Little Hoopla Association. We plan to help the disabled children feel like they have surmounted their disabilities and feel like they can do whatever they put their minds to. Huffalump ranch plans to start an annual celebration for the children that participate in the horseback riding here. They will be able to have contests where they can win prizes or earn an extra hour with the horses. Since they support the Give A Little Hoopla Association at Huffalump Ranch, we are entirely willing to support them in their efforts no matter how big.

Background History
Our organization was founded by three teenagers after they volunteered at a hospital for disabled children. They saw that many of them were bored and unoccupied but discovered that they couldn't participate in community sports and recreation teams. So, these three teenagers thought that the kids could ride horses, because its an individual sport that is relaxing and easier for them. The levels of riding range from easy to hard and the rider can choose on what level they would like to ride. After their visit to the hospital they raised a whole bunch of money through fundraisers to create Huffalump Ranch. Today, Huffalump Ranch is a very successful ranch and has over 50 children riding their horses daily. Thanks to our donations and support, Huffalump Ranch has turned into a wonderful organization.

Success Stories
The children here at Huffalump Ranch usually come with disabilities including Downs Syndrome, autism, and other mental disabilities. Once they come here, we give the children an opportunity to ride and take care of horses, which they usually have never done before. The horses have a unique way of teaching the children how to be respectful and take care of another life. The actual riding of the horses also helps the kids get much needed physical therapy.

One particular success story was Timmy Rogah, an eleven year old boy, who came to our ranch because of a serious mental injury, which gives him not only mental preventions but social problems. After working with the horses, Timmy developed new friendships and grew with self-confidence. He learned to understand and ride the horses, and at the same time he opened his life up to obstacles that were thought impossible to overcome.
